Google Drive is a file storage and synchronization service Launched on April 24, 2012, You can use Drive on your computer or mobile device to securely upload files and edit them online. Drive also makes it easy for others to edit and collaborate on files. Google Drive allows users to store files on their servers, synchronize files across devices, and share files. In addition to a website, Google Drive offers apps with offline capabilities for Windows and macOS computers, and Android and iOS smartphones and tablets.

Step 1: Go to drive.google.com
Step 2: Upload or create files
You can upload files from your computer or create files in Google Drive.
Step 3: Share and organize files
You can share files or folders, so other people can view, edit, or comment on them.
To see files that other people have shared with you, go to the "Shared with me" section.

Computer
The latest versions of Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms are compatible with the following operating systems and browsers.
Browsers
Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms work with the 2 most recent versions of the following browsers (unless specified otherwise). Make sure cookies and JavaScript are turned on for your browser.
Other browsers may work, but you might not be able to use all of the features.

Upload files and folders to Google Drive
You can upload, view, share, and edit files with Google Drive. When you upload a file to Google Drive, it will take up space in your Drive, even if you upload to a folder owned by someone else.

Types of files
Computer : Upload files & folders
On your computer, you can upload from drive.google.com or your desktop. You can upload files into private or shared folders.
On your computer, go to drive.google.com.
At the top left, click New and then File Upload or Folder Upload.
Choose the file or folder you want to upload.
Drag files into Google Drive
On your computer, go to drive.google.com.
Open or create a folder.
To upload files and folders, drag them into the Google Drive folder
Convert documents into Google formats:
If you want to upload files like Microsoft Word documents, you can change a setting to convert files.
Note: You can only change Google Drive settings from your computer.
Using a computer, go to drive.google.com/drive/settings.
Next to "Convert Uploads," check the box.
Upload files with the same name
If you upload a file with the same name, Google Drive will upload the file as a revision of the file already in Google Drive.
To keep both files:
On your computer, go to drive.google.com.
Upload a file.
Click Keep as separate file.
