National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand an Institution of National importance declared by an Act of Parliament, offers several undergraduate, postgraduate & doctoral programs in Technology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English also provides excellent ambience for academic research and co-curricular activities. Currently, NIT Uttarakhand is functional at two campuses i.e. Parent Campus at Srinagar Garhwal and Satellite Campus at MNIT Jaipur.
The National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand invites various temporary faculty from Indian Nationals for Walk-In-Interview for Odd Semester of Academic Year 2019-20, which is scheduled on 29th July 2019, in the following Departments of the Institute:

Qualifications:
(i) For all Discipline in general: UG, PG and Ph.D. should be in the respective disciplines of Engineering & Technology and English. Preference may be given to PhD candidate. Preference will also be given to UG/PG/Ph.D from NITs/IITs. (ii) For the Discipline of Engineering: First class both at UG and PG level (60% or 6.50/10 CGPA) from the recognized University/Institute. (iii) For the Discipline of English (Social Science & English): First class at PG level (60% or 6.50/10 CGPA) from the recognized University/Institute or First class at PG level and Ph.D. in the respective discipline.
Consolidated remuneration:
(i) For those with Master Degree (M.E. / M.Tech/ M.Sc., / M.Phil / M.A./MBA) / Ph.D. Degree `39,000/- per month.
GENERAL CONDITIONS:
1. NIT Uttarakhand is functioning in two campuses i.e. Parent Campus at Srinagar Garhwal and Satellite Campus at MNIT Jaipur. THE SELECTED CANDIDATES MAY REQUIRE TO SERVE THE INSTITUTE AT BOTH THE CAMPUSES.
2. The appointment is purely temporary for Odd Semester of Academic Year 2019-20.
3. This position does not confer any right on the applicant to claim either continuous employment or permanency in future.
4. The candidates should appear for Walk-In-Interview with original certificates, a set of photocopies of certificates and copy of Bio-data. In absence of originals, candidate shall not be considered for Interview.

5. All Degree Certificates should be from recognized Universities / Institutes. Further, candidates must attach conversion criteria of CGPA to percentage (%) from the University/Institution/Board.

7. If suitable candidates are not available, post shall not be filled.
8. Institute reserves the right to decide the number of posts.
9. Reservation as per Govt. of India policy shall be observed.
