Position: Junior Research Fellow (01 Position)
Remuneration : Rs. 25,000/- p.m. consolidated for NET/GATE qualified candidates and Rs. 12,000/- p.m. consolidated for non-NET/non-GATE qualified candidate plus admissible House Rent Allowance (HRA), which is at present @20% for 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 28,000/- p.m. consolidated for non-NET/non-GATE qualified candidate plus admissible House Rent Allowance (HRA which is at present @ 20% for 3rd year, subject to satisfactory performance. In case the performance of the selected candidate is not found to be satisfactory, the fellowship can be terminated. Sufficient supporting continent grant for field work etc. will be provided.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 28 years as on date of advertisement.
Essential Qualification : 1st class M.Sc./M.Tech (Geology, Applied Geology) with Geology, Physics, Mathematics at B.Sc. level.
Desirable : Throughout first-class academic records, Experience & Training on Mineral separation processes, knowledge of structural geology, Matlab, Arc-GIS knowledge and zeal to do field work/tracking in high altitude region. Preference will be given to the NET/GATE qualified candidate and selected candidate will be encouraged to register in Ph.D. degree.
