Advertisement for walk-in-interview - Applications are invited from the citizens of India for filling up the two purely temporary positions of Junior Research Fellow at Department of Forestry and Natural Resources, HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar (Garhwal)-246174, Uttarakhand in the project entitled “Improving decentralized forest governance in Central Himalaya: Converging on livelihoods and policy concerns” funded by Uttarakhand State Council of Science and Technology (UCOST), Govt. of Uttarakhand (Project Period: three years). Positions are purely on a contractual basis and coterminous with the project. Young and motivated candidates possessing the following educational qualifications are invited for Walk-in-Interview on 18 January 2022, 10.30 AM onwards.

Emoluments - @ Rs. 12,000/ p.m. (inclusive of all)
Maximum age - 28 years
Qualification - First class Masters degree in in Forestry/ Environmental Science/ Botany/Biodiversity Conservation/ related subjects
Desirable Work experience in Himalayan Ecosystem/ Mountain terrain
Nature of Duties & Responsibilities: The project involves extensive field travel as well as surveys in forest areas of Uttarakhand state covering mapping, structural investigation, plant specimen collection, and community interaction. Therefore, only interested candidates should attend the interview
