The Wildlife Institute of  India  (WII)  is a  premier  autonomous Institute under the  Ministry  of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India, in the field of wildlife research, teaching and training.The   Institute   plans   to   engage   project   personnel   (Indian   national   only)   and   invites application over email followed by anonline interview for engaging, one (01) Research Assistant for a project on purely contractual basis.The period of the contractual engagement will be for a period of 01 (one) year. The last date of receipt of online applications is 20.07.2021 up to 1700 hrs. The EQ, DQ, age limits, monthly emoluments and other details of the positions are given below:

 

Recruitment of project personnel for Project “An  integrated approach  for  conservation  of Takin  in  North  East  India:  Linking  species  ecology and traditional ecological knowledge”

 

  • S.NO - 1

 

  • Position(s) - Research Assistant

 

  • Emoluments - Rs. 22,000/-+ HRA

 

  • No of posts - 1

 

  • Educational Qualifications - Bachelors’ Degree in any discipline related to Biological Science/Life Science/Ecological Sciences from a recognized university

 

  • Desirable - Preferably having experience/interest in: natural history, wildlife surveys, good command over written and spoken English, Interest to carry out both desk based and field based research.

 

  • Maximum Age (in Years) - 28

 

  • Work Description - Work involves ecological study on Takin  in  selected areas of Arunachal Pradesh.
