Applications in prescribed proforma are invited for the engagement of following positions under different projects as per details mentioned below. Last date of receiving of duly filled in application form is 23.10.2021, 05:00 PM at DCFR, Bhimtal.
1. Position (No. of vacancies):YP-II (One)
2. Name of the project: “National Surveillance Programme for Aquatic Animal Disease” (NSPAAD)
3. Essential Qualification : Post graduation in Life science or Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology or Graduate degree holder in Engineering Technology/ Veterinary Science in relevant field
4. Desirable : Experience in conventional PCR, handling of aquatic micro-organisms and operation of Scientific Equipments. Candidates must be willing to travel Frequently in high hill areas for sampling.
5. Location of work: ICARDCFR Bhimtal
6. Total emoluments: Rs.35,000/- per month fixed
7. Duration of project: Up to December, 2021
Position (No. of vacancies):YP-II (One)
2. Name of the project: All India Network Project on Ornamental Fish Breeding and Culture (NPOFDC)
3. Essential Qualification : Master in Fisheries Science / Zoology / Environmental Science
4. Desirable Experience : Research experience in Aquaculture with working knowledge in fish maintenance, breeding, and culture. Good working knowledge in computer, data processing and interpretation of result
5. Location of work: ICARDCFR Bhimtal
6. Total emoluments: Rs.35,000/- per month fixed
7. Duration of project: for a period of one year initially (but likely to be extended) and coterminus with the project
Position (No. of vacancies): YP-II (One)
2. Name of the project: Ichthyofaunal diversity and health assessment of Central Himalayan River, Saryu, Uttarakhand for Field Centre Champawat
3. Essential Qualification : Post Graduation in Fisheries Economics/ Agriculture Economics.
4. Desirable : Experience in water quality analysis, Fish and Plankton sampling, Good knowledge in taxonomy and biology of fishes. The candidate must be willing to travel frequently in high altitude areas of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jummu & Kashmir and North East India. Excellent computer documentation and analytical skills. Candidates with ICAR/CSIR /UGC NET will be given preference.
5. Location of work: ICARDCFR, Field Centre Champawat
6. Total emoluments: Rs.35000/- per month fixed
7. Duration of project: Initially for 01 year
Age: 21-45 years as on the date of closing of application
Terms and Conditions:
1. The above position is purely on contract basis. The person engaged will have no claim for absorption in any capacity after the termination of the project. Duration of the project may be Increased/decreased.

3. An interview to engage against the advertised posts shall be conducted only of the shortlisted candidates. Minimum of five valid applications would be required after short listing of candidates for organising an interview. Date of interview shall be communicated to shortlisted candidates in due course.
4. A self attested copy of Certificates of all passed examinations starting from matriculation, a latest passport size photograph affixed on the application containing bio-data and caste certificate should be enclosed along with filled in application form.
5. Relevant experience certificate if any, should be enclosed alongwith application form.
6. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature.
7. The decision of the Director, DCFR, Bhimtal will be final.
8. Candidate must be medically fit, motivated and dynamic and willing to join immediately after selection.
9. Relaxation in criteria shall be applicable under rule for SC/ST/OBC/Women candidate.
